 REPORT ON COLLAGE WORKSHOP

                      As a part of b.ed curriculum , Dr Palpu memorial SNDP yogam college of education conducted a workshop for collage. Pdmakumari teacher gave the instructions for us. This workshop provide us a platform to display our skill on collage making. The workshop was held on 24th march 2017, Friday.All of us reached the general hall at 2.00 pm. The workshop began on time . The teacher gave us an elaborate instruction before one week. So we prepared well. Everyone came with necessary materials for making collage. When there have puppetry workshop, that sir also gave us very good description about collage making. So our duty is so easy. Everyone enthusiastically participated in the workshop and made it a success.
             collage is a technique of an art production primarily used in the visual arts where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. its a work of art produced by this technique. 
a collage may sometimes include magazines and newspaper clippings,ribbons ,paint,bits of colored or handmade papers,portions of other artwork or texts,photographs and other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects ,glued to a piece of paper or canvas. The term collage was coined by both George Braque and Pablo Picasso. Some time small collage deliver great messages.

TYPES OF COLLAGE
  • PAPER COLLAGES : It is made using paper as a medium. Some popular types used are :- Photos,magazines,newspaper,envelops,design printed paper,colored cardboard etc.
  • PAINT COLLAGES : It involves painting a sheet of paper with the paint or dye color of any..
  • FABRIC COLLAGES :Cloth pieces can be cut or ripped into shapes or strips and arranged in a design you find appealing.
                            This workshop help us to engage in creative activities . Our teacher helped us throughout the workshop. It was a unique platform for all of us to showcase our talent  and creativity.
             Everyone selected topics according to their subject for collage making. I prepared a paper collage with newspaper cuttings . My theme was based on satellite launch by ISRO on 2017 February. For that I prepared a Rocket by using theme based paper cuttings. my work is shown below...

In which I selected glass painting.                                        Glass painting is a contemporary art which has derived from the age old art of stained glass painting.It was a common feature in high windows and doors etc.At home glass painting,wall hangings on windows ,cups,mugs,mirrors,tiles,acrylic sheets and so on. COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP

THREE DAYS COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP        As a part of our B.ed curriculum, Dr.Palpu Memorial SNDP Yogam College of Teacher Education conducted a “COMMUNITY LIVING   CAMP” from April 4 to 7 ,2015.Main theme of the camp was “BACK TO NATURE”.The camp helped the students to develop leadership quality,togethernss,creativity,positive attitudes. MAIN THEME “BACK TO NATURE” The theme of the camp was selected in such a way that to awaken the human beings to protect the nature and to be with the nature for always.All the classes conducted was up to the theme and raised the standard of the camp. REPORT ON PUPPETRY WORKSHOP                           As a part of B.Ed curriculum ,Dr.palpu memorial S.N.D.P. Yogam College of Education conducted a  workshop for puppetry. Padmakumari teacher gave the instructions for us.this workshop provide us a platform to display our skill on puppetry making and drama presentation.The workshop was held on 25 th February  2017.  All of us reached the general hall at 9.30 am.The workshop began on time.Everyone came with necessary materials like plastic bottle and scissors .
